Story

My name is Innes Reid and I have Aspergers Syndrome.  Aspergers Syndrome is an Autism Spectrum Disorder and as a kid with autism I completely feel alone. In my case before I was diagnosed, my world completely imploded. I had to leave my school, my friends there and life continues to be sad. I have been working with lots of people who are trying to help me.

It's very difficult for me to make friends because I misunderstand social interactions a lot of the time and I don't really get sarcasm or innuendos. This makes it difficult for my friends to support me. I get anxious and depressed especially in new situations and I find it really hard to cope with everyday situations.

Please donate to this challenge because every bit of awareness helps. You can do this at this JustGiving page. My Dad says that the National Autism Society has helped him a lot and he needs all the help he can get!
