Story
Andy's Brother Steven known to many as 'Nobby' died on 21st October 2012 after a short battle against Acute Myeloid Leukaemia - Blood Cancer and Andy's Mother Anita died on 4th April 2014 after battling Breast, Bone and Lung Cancer. Both had a Very difficult hard fight with Cancer. Their passing is something Andy finds very difficult to come to terms with but he promised them both in their last few days that he would raise as much money as he could for their chosen charity BRIGHT RED Blood Cancer Charity so that we can help in the fight to beat all Blood Cancers and to also help provide support to so many other people fighting Cancer.
Andy wants to raise as much as he can to help research into Beating Cancer and to also help save the lives of so many others fighting this awful disease. Andy doesn't want anyone else to go through the pain of losing loved ones to Cancer as it really does destroy so many families, so let's stick together and one day 'We Will Beat Cancer'.
Bright Red are based within the Northern Centre For Cancer Care within Newcastle Freeman Hospital and through patient care, research and education Bright Red are striving to beat illness such as Leukaemia, Lymphoma, Myeloma and several other blood cancers.
Andy will therefore undergo a number of very tough and strenuous Challenges to raise funds for 'Bright Red' and every penny donated will really help in the fight against Cancer and will truly help so many people currently fighting this horrendous disease .
