So turns out living in a tent for most of the year doesn't actually make you as invincible and hard as you might think, cos I've been doing it for two years and thought after living with rats I could never get ill! But turns out I can actually, and I've got cancer.

It's a type of lymphoma cancer which affects my blood cells and I'm receiving chemotherapy to get rid of it.

So... rather than watch my hair fall out gradually, I've decided to bite the bullet and shave my head instead.

I'm donating all the money to ClicSargent which is the leading children and young adult cancer charity. They're brilliant and as soon as I got diagnosed I met three lovely ladies who work for Clic Sargent Nottingham who've been giving me loads of advice and have told me about the sort of things I can get involved in- day trips and events etc. The money raised would help them to continue to support young patients and their families.
