We are raising money in remembrance of Howard Phillips, an exceptional prosecutor and much loved friend and colleague.

Throughout his career Howard was consistently recognised as a beacon of excellence within CPS, and as a Senior Crown Prosecutor in the South West CCU he led on many of our most serious and challenging cases. He was highly regarded by those who worked with him for the positivity, courage and compassion he brought to his casework. 

In recent years, Howard’s outstanding work to combat organised crime, modern slavery and other serious offending brought an end to major criminal networks that blighted communities in the South West and beyond. In doing so, his work improved the lives of countless people.

Howard will be greatly missed by all his colleagues.
