Welcome, friends and family!
The four members of team "Impossible is Nothing" have chosen to take on a challenging 100km endurance team hike during the weekend of 23rd - 25th April, and we need your support to meet the required charity donation to join in on this amazing and difficult experience!
The reason for the event:
Oxfam charities support important sustainable development and emergency aid projects around the globe, from building schools in the Phillipines to supporting sustainable agriculture in Laos and Mozambique.
For more details on all of the deserving charities supported, check out:
http://www.trailwalker.jp/en/fundraising/how_the_money_is_used/
What is this hike?:
Trailwalker is an annual 100km team endurance hiking event which Oxfam Japan puts on every year to raise awareness and funds for their charities. The 100km bush trail winds through central Japan near the base of Mt. Fuji, and involves climbing several smaller mountains and difficult terrain. The entire team must finish together within 48 hours to be successful. Your pledges will allow us to take on this intensely challenging experience, and we will show our dedication by completing it together.
April 9th is the date for fundraising the minimum amount to participate (that's 120,000 ¥ or ~1325$ US between the four of us), so all the help you can give to allow us to reach the required amount in time is greatly, greatly appreciated!
We hope you can give a bit to help support our undertaking!
