Story

Thank you for visiting our page, and I hope you will donate as much or as little as you can.

You may be aware that I ran the Great Scottish Run Half marathon in October and through blood, sweat and tears I raised £850 for Macmillan Cancer Support.

I've now set my sights higher, and plan to complete the London Marathon and raise £2000 for the Live Well campaign (including £500 matched giving by my employer).

Eddie has been trying to run the marathon for the last 5 years, and has finally got himself a place - 6th time lucky! If he makes it to the starting line without injuring himself (unlikely) he's hoping to finish in under 4 hours.

One in three people over the age of 65 will develop dementia - robbing them of their memories and lives.

Every year another 100,000 people develop the condition and there is no cure.

£2000 will train 2 trainers, who will change the lives of hundreds of carers and dementia sufferers across the UK. Please give generously!

I'll be regularly updating a blog at imogenruns.blogspot.com, so you can support and/ or mock my efforts.
