Story
Thank you for visiting my page. Any donation, big or small is appreciated!
I am attempting to run THE London Marathon, an excruciating 26.2 miles, to raise £2,620 for Macmillan Cancer Support. I’m doing this for my Mum who has battled Breast Cancer and my aunt who lost her life to Lung cancer.
My Mum has spent the last 18 months fighting. It’s been a very difficult journey - the physical pain, emotional fear and loneliness, and the financial burden (as we had to go private).
I hope you will never personally know someone who has to fight cancer. My mum also lost her sister to it shortly prior to her own diagnosis. But if you do, I hope that you have the support that we had.
Macmillan provide amazing support - practical, medical and financial - and also push for better cancer care. With your donations, they could support more of the three million people in the UK who have cancer.
£2,620! That’s £100 for every excruciating mile. If you know me, then you know I’m lazy, a chocoholic and take forever to do anything. However, I know your donations will help motivate me to cross that finish line.
You are a star for donating! Please help spread the word to help me and Macmillan smash my target of £2,620!
Thank you/ JazakAllah
