Story
This year I'm running in honour of my much loved father Jack, who died on January 8th this year.
As Dad was diagnosed with glioma (brain tumour) in September 2011, we as a family were fortunate to spend some quality time, and one last Christmas, with him before his passing.
Whilst Dad lived to the ripe old age of 87, many others suffering from the same condition aren't so lucky, and it is for those who require care from an early age who I'd like to raise money and awareness for this year.
The charity I've chosen to support, Haven House Hospice, is an institution who provide respite for youngsters suffering terminal illnesses, and their families.
Please help me support this worthy cause by giving as generously as you have in previous years - believe me, your support is a huge incentive when struggling through the 26.2 miles..!!
Many thanks in advance for your help and generosity.
Ian.
