Fundraising for The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity
Thanks for taking the time to visit my Team Sarah's page, and please find the time to read on.
In late 2007 Sarah, our gorgeous oldest daughter, had her first fit whilst at work, followed over the course of the next few weeks with other events which pointed to the fact that something was not quite right.
In early 2008 she had an operation to remove a very rare malignant brain tumour. If had not been for the unbelievable skills of all involved - well who knows what would have happened. Every six months now we return to the Royal Marsden who took over from the angels at Brighton and Haywards Heath as experts in the field - and every trip into the Paediatric units shows us just how talented these guys are. To watch a young child walk around the unit connected to a mobile drip is one of the most grounding experiences you can imagine. But they need more than skill, like so many things in life, they need money and we want to help them in this task.
So the mighty Wakeford Clan have entered the Mardsen March , and hopefully with your generosity we can all help a little bit to improve or dare I say save a young life! Thank you so very very much for your generosity
