Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I have raised £625 for Macmillan Cancer Support. My Just Giving page expires at the end of November, so any last minute donations would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you all for your help, support and tips it really helped in the training. My favourite was advice was to eat jelly beans to keep up the sugar levels, but this proved difficult with the swimming!!
I cycled 100km in 7 hours 20 minutes from the Olympic Park to Cambridge through the night on 10th/11th May on the Moonriders challenge.
The next challenge was my first half marathon in St Albans on the 9th June which was completed in 2 hours and 5 minutes.
After this I swapped the running shoes for a wetsuit for the Great London swim in the docklands on 31st August. With the help of some swimming lessons and 6.30am starts at the swimming pool, I finished the 1 mile swim in 50 minutes.
I then finished off the challenges with a second half marathon in Tonbridge in September in 2 hours and 5 minutes.
And now the legal jargon....
