I am undergoing chemo-therapy for bowel cancer which has spread to my liver. Following 12 sessions of treatment, I will have a short break of 6 weeks which provide a window of opportunity for me to raise money for my chosen charity; this will help to thank all the staff at Airedale Hospital for their wonderful care and dedication since October last year. A small group of family and friends will aim to climb Roseberry Topping in North Yorkshire on Saturday, September 7th.

We will commence the climb at 10.30am on that day. It will be a gentle stroll rather than a difficult hike; we intend to get to the summit via the easier route, although the climb becomes steep near the top. You are welcome to join us; we shall meet in the car park at Newton under Roseberry, near Great Ayton, Cleveland, N. Yorks, TS9 6QR. See you there!
