Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Whilst ascending Sharp Edge on Blencathra eighteen months ago, I slipped and fell down the North Gully sustaining life-threatening injuries. The Keswick Mountain Rescue team were called and were able to get me to safety and assess my injuries. They called the air ambulance and I was flown to Newcastle RVI intensive care unit where I was able to start the lengthy process of my recovery and rehabilitation. Having made a good recovery, I am indebted to the Keswick Mountain Rescue team for their critical response on that day and wish to show my gratitude by raising funds to support their work which relies wholly on voluntary contributions. Thank you for helping me do this
