Anyone that knows me will know that I've always been the class joker right from school up until this present day.

The one thing that motivates me every day and makes me feel happy about myself, is if I can make someone smile.

My mates will all say that I'm a pain in the arse sometimes with some of the pranks I've pulled on them over the years.

I love a good wind up or a joke and you can Guarantee I'm usually the one that will cause havoc if out with my mates.

I don't care if the joke is on me, even better!

So, when I seen this comedy gig come up on my Facebook feed to be trained up for 8 weeks by professionals, and to be part of a show to raise money for Cancer research Wales, I stupidly jumped at the chance to get up on that stage and make my dream come true.

I've often gone down to The comedy club in Cardiff and come away thinking, "I reckon I could do better than some of them if only I had the balls and the know how of how to get started."

Im doing this in honor of my mum Shirley Oldfield who I lost through cancer, she was 62. I also lost good friends and know of friends who are currently having treatment for it.

I've no idea what type of presentation for the show I'll be doing, but I'll give it my best shot.

So, if you can I'd be buzzing if you could chip in even a quid which is for a very good cause and it'll mean once I get one donation I won't be able to back out then.

Many thanks for reading and hopefully see a few of you at the venue in November. Oh God.
