Story
Hello,
Well, I did it... Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. It was amazing fun... although I was a bit queasy afterwards (due to the adrenalin apparently)... now, when's the next one?
Thanks very much to everyone who's made a donation, I really appreciate it, and Make-A-Wish has got lots of money to make more wishes come true. With my colleagues, we reached a total in excess of £23,000... and the money's still coming in... it's not too late to donate.
Make-A-Wish grant magical wishes to children and young people who are fighting life-threatening illnesses.
I'm going to make a skydive to raise money for Make-A-Wish. My jump is likely to be in Maidstone in Kent, and will take place on Saturday 20 August 2011.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they’ll never sell them or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So, please give whatever you can so that this great charity can make a difference to many youngsters.
Thanks. Ian.
