I've stupidly decided to run the Great North Run (13.1 miles of extreme enjoyment?!) on Sunday 20th September 2009 in Newcastle...please support me!

I am running for 2 reasons:

1) to get fit!

2) to support Cancer Research - a few people people I work with (and have worked with in the past) have been diagnosed with cancer and have successfully fought the disease. The best way of preventing this disease in the future is through research, so please help me support this very worthwhile charity.

You may see me out and about training around Larkfield or Leybourne Lakes, or at work at the Sandhole Veterinary Centre, so please support me in any way you can. If you don't feel like making your way up to Newcastle to cheer me on (and I don't blame you!), then maybe take the easier approach and watch on BBC1 from the comfort of your bed!
