Hi everybody! Thank you for your donations so far, it's very kind and helps us to carry on!
Here's a little breakdown of what we've been up to!

Day 1.

We travelled from Chelmsford to station to Liverpool St. train, then cycled through London to Euston, which in itself was a challenge! We took the train to Glasgow, which took a good few hours and changed to take the train to Inverkip. We cycled into the village, which had a pretty marina area, and stayed there for the evening.

Day 2.

We arose early to cycle to ferry, to make the crossing to Bute. We then cycled to Wemyss bay ferry and crossed to Rothesay. Then we were back on the bikes again and cycled to Rhubodach. We then caught another ferry to Colintraive... and another to Portavadie! This was a very tough, hilly cycle, in the rain to Tarbert and onto a hotel on the loch.

Day 3.

Today we cycled to Kennacraig and onto Askraig port to catch our only ferry of the day! On arrival, we cycled to the hotel in Bridgend.

Day 4.

Weather too bad to get boat across to Colonsay and it was cancelled, so we cycled around island of Islay!

Day 5

This morning we cycled to port and hopped on the ferry over to Jura island. We cycled over hills to other side to the only hotel on island. There were beautiful views as we cycled around the island.

Day 6

We cycled from hotel Jura, over mountains. Caught ferry to Islay. Tough cycle up hill again, pouring rain and winds.

Cycled across island to Bowman.
Wouldn't mind but haven't seen one deer, otter or seal! Islands keep boasting all this wildlife!
Think it is too bloody wet and cold... even for them!

Day 7

All day raining and gales, which meant our ferry was cancelled.

Gales went down to 40 miles per hour or cycle across island! 

We cycled a really tough route to port Ellen and managed to get another cycle around part of island. Rained on and off all day!

Day 8

We left port Ellen and got a ferry to Arran and we saw deer within yards of the port!
Even a stag on golf course!

We had a hard cycle up and over hills to other side of island. 

We checked into hotel to off load and cycled along coast road to Brodick.  Saw some seals along rout ...

Lights failed so had to cycle back in rain and dark !

Day 9

We left hotel Corrie for a cycle in the rain again to ferry across to Ardrossan to leave Isle of Arran. We then took a train to Carlisle and cycled to our next hotel hotel.

Day 10... our last day!

We rode our bikes into Carlisle and boarded the train to Euston. We got back into work mode and worked all the way through to London.

We had one final push and cycled from Euston to Liverpool Street. The train took us to Ingatestone and we cycled HOME.
Job well done !

So over our journey we climbed up to the highest point of 1370 feet... which is the same distance as 9 olympic sized swimming pools!

Thank you to everybody who has supported us, we are thrilled at the response... we are even more thrilled to give our legs a rest!
