Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On Saturday 20th August 2011 employees from LifeScan Scotland will be cycling to raise as much money as possible for Diabetes UK and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF).

I am attempting the Petit course (26 miles); with some of my keener and fitter colleagues.attempting the Grande route (47 miles).  As you can see from the picture my training hasn't quite gone to plan (although I did make it out for a spin on Sunday); and as I'll be using the bike I found in a burn, I thought 26 miles would be a big enough challenge for me.

In recognition of my efforts are you up to the challenge of digging deep and making a donation?  Don't forget that Gift Aid can add a further 25% to the amount you donate.  Also be aware that LifeScan will "match fund" your donation, so your genorosity will be doubled for this very worthy cause.

Thanks in advance.
