Heart disease caused both my grandfather and father to pass away at an early age. The BHF funds research that may one day prevent others from losing their loved ones prematurely. I want to make a substantial donation to help them continue their invaluable work.

I've decided to make the challenge as difficult as possible by aiming to be on the beach in Brighton before 09:30 am, based on my start time of 06:30 am. I will be attempting the challenge with a lot of help from The Body Shop HQ team who are providing logistical support as well as fielding their own fundraising team of 31 riders. DDD Ltd (my employers) are providing much needed support in terms of training time & sponsorship.

During the ride, I'll be recording all of the GPS data as well as my own biomechanical metrics such as power output & heart rate to show how hard I'll be trying and if I make it on time.
