Multiple Sclerosis gives zero fucks as to who it affects, age or gender though more common in females or people between the age of 20 to 40 (which when you look at that statistic is the prime of your life!!!).

The level of severity and speed with which it attacks can differ from person to person. In the case of my Mum I have a vivid memory of her walking me to primary school on my first day aged 5, by the end of that first year of school she was no longer physically able to. Unfortunately my mum passed away just nine years later when I was aged but 14, not from MS itself but certainly from a body and mind that had deteriorated from its effects

Just within my small circle of life I am connected to four people that are affected by MS included in these four people is my cousin Donna ...and that is why I am doing this, because thanks to The MS Society and the research they are doing to find treatments and therapies to help manage the condition. They also provide a strong support network for both physical and emotional needs for not only the person affected but also for the people surrounding them.

So in summary I have vowed to raise £2000.00 (not including gift, please make sure you tick gift aid if you are eligible as this will add 25% to your donation)  However I believe that with all of your help we can exceed that, I will do the hard bit all I ask of you is to donate as little or as much as you wish ....oh and spread the word, you may not know someone living with this awful disease but chances are  you may know someone who does.

Forgot to say my daughters friend (who I do not know and never met) has pledged £50.00 if I do just one weeks training wearing a tu-tu, so I am upping the ante and promise that if we together exceed my target of £2000.00 I will for the full 26.2 miles of hell wear an orange tu-tu, matching orange leggings and full face make up........over to you and please don't be modest and donate anonymously as I wish to thank each and everyone that supports us.
