Story
Ok, this is the final time I promise. Having hit 40 my body is starting physically to say no....
However, mind over matter, how could I say no to running a few more miles to hopefully aid such a fantastic local charity for what is a very personal family cause.
(plus I suspect it may also be my last chance to train with one of THE elite atheletes of his time - yes I do mean you Si)
Linc do fabulous work in our local area improving the care received by patients who are receiving chemotherapy for Leukaemia. The treatment is particularly hard to tolerate which is why patient care is so important.
As you all know, through donating so generously in the past, donating through JustGiving is simple, fast, and totally secure. The great thing is it is simple for the charity as your money is sent directly to them and Gift Aid is automatically reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.
It would be great if you could help such a worthwhile charity whilst always knowing that at some point on the 22nd April a certain 40 year old balding male (ok, who am I kidding, bald male) will be in a whole world of discomfort and self doubt. Any amount you can give, no matter how small, will be hugely appreciated and will make a massive difference to someone facing the challenge of their life.
Thank you again,
Ian xxx
