Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page - let me invite you to John's birthday party! On May 1st we are having a day of live music at Lock 42 in Leicester to raise money for Young Minds. The day is in memory of John Rohleder - a great friend who, having been diagnosed as schizophrenic at 19, sadly left us in his 20s.
John's big love was music, and all his friends will remember him clad in a band T-shirt (Wonder Stuff, Neds or Mega City 4 especially!), extolling the virtues of a song heard on Peel, a record found in a bargain-bin, or a gig seen at JB's, The Hummingbird, or the Leadmill. Live music was therefore the obvious way to honour him, and I'd like to thank in advance all the acts who are taking part.
GIG DETAILS:-
Venue is Lock 42 (at Stayfree), 3-5 Frog Island, Leicester, LE3 5AG
