Story

Hi everyone,

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

After 2 knee reconstructions and a shoulder stabilisation, I decided to give rugby a break and take on the new challenge of road cycling.  As I've never really been one to do things by half, I decided that this year's first challenge had to be Lands End to John O'Groats, which will see me cover 950 miles over 12 days.

To add to the challenge, my employers, Thales, are also holding the Grand Depart Challenge, which will see a team of us cover 220 miles in 3 days.

I am doing all of this in aide of the Alzheimer's Society, as they do a lot of great work supporting not only the sufferer's of this horrendous disease but the families as well.

I know many of you have supported me in the past but I would very much appreciate your further support by sponsoring me during 2014, a year that will see me complete a total of 1170 miles over 15 days.  The money that you raise will provide vital access to nearly 3,000 local services to support everyone associated with Dementia.

I thank you all in advance for your generosity.

Iain
