Story
A team of walkers from IDS, Ideal Bathrooms and Neville Lumb, all part of the Saint-Gobain group will set off on a 12 hour adventure to tackle the Yorkshire 3 peaks all in aid for Barnardos.
As one of the UK's leading children's charities, Barnardo's works with over 300,000 children, young people, parents & carers each year. We run over 1,000 local projects including counselling for children who have been abused, adoption services, vocational training & disability inclusion groups.
As a team we have decided to challenge ourselves to complete a 26 mile walk which includes the peaks of Pen-y Ghent at 694m of elevation, Whernside at 736m of elevation and Ingleborough at 723m of elevation!!
The goal is to complete the challenge inside the traditional 12 hour window that gains you entry into the prestigious Pen-y Ghent Cafe Club!
We ask that you give generously to support Barnardos and wish us well with our training and challenge!
