We rescue, rehome and rehabilitate to improve the lives of Scotland's animals.
Story
In memory of Ross we are arranging a walk from Ballantrae to Stranraer (approx 18 miles) via Penwhirn Reservoir. Due to Ross` intense love with animals (sorry, that should be love FOR animals) his family felt that it would be appropriate for proceeds to go to SSPCA.
Those wishing to attempt the whole distance can join us on the service bus to Ballantrae at 07.55 from Port Rodie, Stranraer on 28th May. It is anticipated that the w...alk shall take around 7 hours. Depending on interest, we are thinking of also arranging a shorter walk for those who feel 18 miles is a bit too far. We`ll update on arrangements for this as soon as possible but the two groups would meet to complete the walk together.
The walk will hopefully culminate in The Custom House for a few drinks.
The event forms part of Loreburn Housing Associations 'Challenge Loreburn' event but is open to anyone wishing to walk in Ross` memory or raise money for the SSPCA.
Sponsor forms can be printed from www.scottishspca.org/fundraising or donations can be handed into the offices of Loreburn Housing Association
