We provide specialist nurses to support families affected by dementia

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My mum Viv Nicholson has developed dementia over the past couple of years and we’ve had to deal with ‘losing her’ whilst she carries on living her life – Whatever anyone thinks about my mum, she has always been very kind to the underdog and wanted to help people who are less fortunate than herself.  So we're trying to raise awareness and money to support Dementia UK, a charity to help victims and their families of this cruel condition.  I’m going on a gruelling 9 day sponsored  trek along the Great wall of China and we're hoping to raise as much money as we can through Just Giving (howard-nicholson) . Witnessing the debilitating effect that dementia has had on my mother and our family has mobilised us  to raise awareness and fundraise to help to fight this dreadful condition
