Story
In a moment of excitement, I decided to run the London Marathon on the 17th April 2011 and after seeing the “Greg Byrne Lash Fund” as not an efficient cause, I have decided to run in aid of the mental health charity “Mind”.
In 2004 more than 5500 committed suicide
1 in 4 people suffer from mental health in the UK
In the UK, 1 in 100 women aged between 15 and 30, suffers from anorexia. Reports show girls as young as five years of age have weight concerns, and think about going on a diet.
AND there are many people who due to a lack of funding will suffer with mental health problems for the rest of their lives.
Mind helps just provide information and campaign for good mental health helping people who have suffered or are suffering with mental health to have a positive experience from society.
With around 3 months to go, and the miles increasing rapidly, I would greatly appreciate your sponsorship to reach my target of £1000 as I see this as a great cause and it will definitely help with motivation to run.
Thank you for all your support!
