I was playing with my sister when fell over and hurt her head after hitting it on a curb and felt dizzy and couldn’t stand up. We immediately raced to the hospital. She had a constant headache and a lot of pain. We were concerned about her being sick. One doctor decided to MRI her head and saw a 6 inch blood clot and a fractured skull. My sister had a life saving brain surgery that lasted 6 hours. The Child Brain Injury Trust has offered support throughout, even to her school and is an invaluable service for children and families who experience a brain injury.
