Story

Howdie doodle :-)  After finishing my degree at the University of Wolverhampton I thought it was time to stop being a leech on society and do something worthwhile and for the benefit of others. I have decided to raise as much money as possible for our brave service men and women, who are currently fighting in Afghanistan and peace keeping across the globe in over 80 countries. The strains and stresses that they face each day is insurmountable and they deserve the support and care of us at home.

Combat Stress is the leading charity specialising in the care of British Veterans who have been profoundly traumatised by harrowing experiences during their Service career – and who are suffering from poor mental health as a result.

I am challenging myself to complete the one mile Great East Swim 2009 in 30 minutes. The event takes place at Alton Water reservoir on Saturday 26th September and will be televised on channel four.

Please give generously and help me raise oodles of money to support our brave troops through Combat Stress.

Thank you muchly,

hxxxx
