Story
I've decided it's finally time I stopped using exercise as merely stress-relief, insomnia cure and a way to save money on transportation and am turning competitive. It may not be a triathalon or a full marathon and I certainly don't expect to be crawling through mud or being electrocuted, but over thirteen miles is still a pretty long way to run for someone whose bed is their best friend.
By choosing the charity entry I have no way of backing out...everything you donate will (hopefully) help motivate me to stick to my training plan and, more importantly, help Macmillan to provide essential care, support and information to cancer patients and their loved ones.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
It doesn't matter how much you can spare, please just give what you can and remember: the sooner I reach my target sum, the sooner I'll stop telling everyone about how badly my trainers smell and how I'm desperately trying to offset potential hypoglycemic comas.
Thank you!
