Story
Firstly thank you for clicking the link to my Just Giving Page.
As some of you may be aware, I have once fought before with UWBC to raise money for Cancer Research. My goal is to not only win this fight, but to raise more money than I did last time, £3,439.00
This time I am fighting for a cause close to my heart. Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice
Please read below the 'Barker Girls Story'
It’s hard to know what to say about our mum. She was so many things to so many people. A daughter, sister, mother and a friend. She loved without condition and always chose to care without judgement.
After a 2 year mighty battle with cancer, Debbi took her last breath surrounded by her children and father.
Even in her last days, she showed us how much she thought about others and asked us to set us a fund raising page for the people that cared for her in her final moments, treated her with dignity and showed her copious amounts of compassion. We cannot thank Phyllis Tuckwell enough for giving mum the space to find peace and create some very cherished memories with her loved ones.
Mums wishes were to ask the people that knew and loved her not to buy flowers for her, but to honour her by donating to such a worthwhile charity.
Thank you to everyone that has reached out and shared your sympathies with us.
We must remember that although we lost such a wonderful person, she lives on in each and every one of us. Let’s never stop telling stories of our beautiful mum and let’s find peace in knowing she can rest in our hearts.
Thank you all for your generosity.

So, please don't just support me to win, support this charity. No one can make a journey like that easier to cope with, but they did.
All my love, dig deep.
Thanks
