Story
Hi everyone,
Thank you for taking the time to visit our Just Giving page.
We are running our very first marathon (26.2 miles eekk!) in Milton Keynes on 1st May to raise money for the wonderful Macmillan Cancer Support.
In 2008, our mum was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. It came
as a huge shock to our very close knit family. Mum had immediate surgery followed by chemotherapy treatment.
We were both so proud of her strength and determination to beat her cancer diagnosis. Even at her suggestion to have a wig party!
We are very proud to say our mum has been all clear for nine years. We want to take that pride and determination we have of her and raise as much money as we can. Our mum had an incredibly kind and supportive Macmillan nurse. We want to be able to raise money so that other families have the fantastic support that we had, at a time when it is really needed.
Its going to be a tough run, but raising money for charity is
always worth it!
Every penny you donate really does make a difference– so please sponsor us now! Thank you!
