This October I have been fortunate enough to secure a place on a 10 week overseas volunteering expedition with Raleigh International to Costa Rica and Nicaragua.  

By no means will this be a 'holiday' as I will be living and working with local communities to improve health care and education, but also helping to protect the countries' natural environments whilst at the same time ensuring that all projects deliver long term sustainable benefits.

 

For some strange reason (as I am normally so lazy) I've decided that running10Km will be a great way to raise awareness of what I'm about to do and at the same time raise some money for Raleigh.
