Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On 26th May 2012 I will be taking part in The British Gas Great London Swim in the Docklands. I wiil be raising money for The Pilgrims Hospice in memory of my dear friend Annette Claw who sadly passed away at The Ashford Hospice in April this year. The love and care given to Annette and her family and friends by the hospice staff during this difficult time was second to none and we will never be able to thank them enough for their kindness.
Please give generously to this worthy cause because any one of us may be in need of hospice care in the future for either ourselves, a member of our family or a friend
I personally will never forget the care given to my own mother at The Pilgrims Hospice in Canterbury many years ago and my Uncle who passed away at The Hospice last year.
Before Annette died I told her I would have to think of another way to raise money for The Hospice having already taken part in the Boxing Day Dip at Folkestone and raised over £500. I hope she would be pleased with my latest idea and I am sure it would make her smile to think of me swimming in The Docklands!
