Story
In July I will be rowing 100 miles on my rowing machine, and as an obvious reminder this is arms and trunk only rowing, the legs aren't much use in this. In a normal month I do between 25 and 50 miles so I need to double my "good" months. To add to the challenge on the last day I plan to do a marathon to take me over the line - and maybe further. This will take me all day as I just cannot row for that length of time continuously. The current plan is to row 2km every half hour, which should be about 15 minutes rowing and 15 minutes rest, but we will see how it goes....

The Samson Centre is here to support anyone living with MS. We are often asked what stage you need to be at to benefit from our services and the answer is, any stage. From people who have been recently diagnosed and are looking for reassurance to people with progressive MS symptoms, we are here for you.
We believe that exercise helps people with MS to manage their symptoms, keeping them mobile and their muscles moving.
I have been a member of the Samson Centre for about 13 years and their services have been essential to me maintaining my mobility and strength in that time. Not only that, sharing knowledge, experience, and emotional support with other members is a major part of what Samson Centre offers and the introductions to accessible sports, which are key to my overall wellbeing, cannot be overlooked.
Thank you for any donations you can make, helping to ensure that the Samson Centre can continue to offer its services to all those living with MS.
