Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. Thank you to everyone who sponsored me and helped me raise so much money for Marie Curie! I set a target of raising £200 but due the generosity and kindness of so many friends, thank God I was able to raise £537 for a charity who do such remarkable work, and to remember my wonderful sister, Annette.
My beautiful sister Annette Rebecca Graham sadly died on 17th November 2012 due to breast cancer. She was only 47 years old. It was a tough battle for her.
On Annette's last day on this earth a wonderful and kind Marie Curie nurse sat with her and nursed her with dignity, love and compassion. I won't forget my wonderful sister who had the biggest, warmest heart and a wicked sense of humor, and so I ran the Birmingham half marathon on Sunday 20th October 2013 in memory of her and to raise money for others who suffer with cancer to have a chance to have the warmth and care of a Marie Curie Nurse.
