Story

Well here goes Little Henri was hospitalised on Peadiatric intensive care unit after contracting tonsillitis, Henri was one of the tiny amount of children each year to contract ADEM (Acute Dissemented Encephalomylitis) commonly referred to as inflammation of the brain and spinal cord burning away nerve fibres causing loss of vision, hearing, cognitive skills, mobility ,learning decline and behavioural impairment. The condition is evil sweeping through the body and changing lives. Henri is in recovery however he will probably always suffer with learning and processing of information, along with severe tiredness and weakness in his left side and legs. Henri will take part in the great Manchester run although he  won't run it he will be there wearing his green RMCH Charity t shirt with pride. We want Henri's donation to go directly to ward 78! There care, attitude and respect shines the brightest and we will be forever thankful for them saving our little boys life! With continued support from Eye hospital, neurology abd physio.
