Helen Rush, Managing Director of Neaves & Neat Recruitment Services Ltd. and Consult IT Recruitment Ltd., will be swapping her usual red stiletto heels for walking boots to trek the Brazilian wilderness to raise money for the charity, Breast Cancer Care. The trek covers a total of 84km and will start at Alto Paraiso and will head east into the beautiful Chapada dos Veadeiros National Park, designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This is a remote part of Brazil and Helen's particular route is rarely walked by either locals or westerners! Walking for an average of six to eight hours a day for six days, the trek will take Helen to an area spilling over with massive waterfalls, the highest of which is 1400m. The terrain and scenery is amazingly varied, taking her through canyons, across savannah and passing through a number of local Indian communities, capped by the awesome sunrises and sunsets. This trek ends with a day to explore the vibrant city of Rio de Janeiro, the magical climax of a truly unforgettable experience. "Helen is hoping to raise £50,000 for Breast Cancer Care by completing this trek. Personally, having worked for Neaves & Neat and CITR for over 6 years and knowing Helen very well, I think she has a lot to overcome (fear mainly - of insects, spiders, snakes...!), as well as the shock of not having anywhere to plug in her hairdryer (yes - Helen is CAMPING IN A TENT!! Ha ha). Will Helen complete the 10-day itinerary, or will she be shouting "I'm a Recruitment Consultant - Get me out of here!!"? If, like me, you would love to see the photos afterwards of Helen tackling unknown dangers then please sponsor her by clicking on DONATE NOW--> at the top of the page. Also, it means the staff here have a few quiet days without the Boss in November.... Please HELP US!" Shara Higgins - Senior Administrator - for Neaves & Neat and CITR Ltd. CORPORATE SPONSORSHIP A big thank you to Diamond Forwarding Limited, I am delighted to announce that they have made a very generous donation of £1,000 towards my campaign to raise funds for Breast Cancer Care. Youngman & Co Chartered Accountants Ely have donated £250 Dako Cytomation Limited have donated £200
