Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Helen and Ray will be participating in the Thames Bridge Challenge on 10th September. We are looking to raise sponsorship and awareness of St George's Hospital in Tooting, London. The hospital saved the life of Helen's brother David Sayers who was involved in a cycling accident in early April and provided care post the accident and in the early stages of what will be a lengthy rehabilitation.

We wanted to give at least a little back to those that provided care and comfort to David and his family during those initial weeks/months so that others, who sadly find themselves in the same or similar situations, can benefit from the services the hospital provides. It is impossible to articulate our gratitude and thanks to the hospital or the range of emotions the family has experienced but any contribution is appreciated and we thank you sincerely.
