Story
It's time to make a difference. This year I chose to cycle 7-9 June 2017 with a group which cycles 166 miles from London to Donington in 2.5 days, 57 miles + 86 miles + 25 miles. The objective is to make a difference to children and adults supported by the work carried out by THREE AMAZING CHARITIES.
When I signed up I hadn't been on a bike for 5 years at least and definitely hadn't cycled 86 miles in a day. The training, the fundraising and the challenge itself were tough - I faced large doses of aches and pains, nothing compared to the challenges others face daily. Every penny donated counts.
I hoped to raise £2,000, with the kindness and generosity of family, friends, colleagues, neighbours, local companies and further afield I have passed this and now heading to £2500. Thanks to all who have donated. Tremendous. My fundraising efforts will continue until the end of June, it's not too late to give.
Donations will be split equally between each charity. My costs are all covered so whatever you donate goes 100% to the charities. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
