Hello, I will be competing in The Great North Swim on 4th Sept 2010 at Lake Windermere in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. Myself and a group of Mums from my daughters school are taking part and are looking for genorous sponsors to help us achieve our target of £200 each.

Macmillan has kindly allowed us to compete in their much sought after charity places and therfore we hope to uphold our side of the bargain and raise as much money as possible to help this chosen charity.

Please spare a thought for me and the girls cavorting around the banks of lake windermere in mercilessly unflattering wetsuits on a no doubt dreary late summer lakeland afternoon, before plunging into the murky depths of Britains longest lake so please dig deep to dull our pain!
