Established in 2008, Hope Housing is a Christian charity working with people experiencing homelessness in Bradford. Our aim is to end rough sleeping in Bradford. The Hope Housing Dragons will be raising money to provide support to those who face eviction from the Everyone In scheme on the 19th October. For many of these clients their accommodation options are limited and they will have no where to turn once they have served their eviction notice. We are raising funds at the 2021 Bradford Boat Race Festival to help find appropriate accommodation and to help clients pay for their rent so they do not face eviction. Many of these clients who are still in the Everyone In scheme are destitute, meaning they have no access to government funds (i.e. Universal Credit) and as a result face the horrifying reality of rough sleeping again.
