Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. On Sunday 23rd October I will be getting filthy for St. Francis again! The Mudpack challenge is a 5 mile run through mud and obstacles at Ashridge.
I've been volunteering at the Inpatient Unit at the Hospice of St Francis for over a year now and it's now an important part of my life. It's a wonderful place - the staff and volunteers do everything possible to make sure patients (and their families and friends) are cared for with the utmost respect and dignity. I saw this first hand early this year when the hospice cared for my dear family friend Ted Lewis. Dad was his best man and a great friend and Ted and I became very close in the latter part of his life.
