Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
As many of you know I lost my running mojo after an epic 2015, I have struggled with depression and gained weight and this has severely impacted on my diabetes. A vicious cycle which I have struggled to break. So this year I decided to set myself a challenge to get me back into a healthy habit for my body and my mind. So in conjunction with trail running magazines #run1000miles challenge I have entered the York 10k, the Yorkshire 10 mile event, tough mudder and the great north run.
I simply have to average 20 miles a week over 2017 to complete the challenge. Simple, until you throw in full time work and single parenthood on top. A few years ago this wouldn't have been a challenge. But after over a year off running it most certainly is. Please give what you can to this wonderful cause, and many thanks in advance
