So i'm at it again, asking for some lovely people to consider donating some money to enable me to go and build some more houses!

 

After heading away in 2009 with Habitat for Humanity Northern Ireland to Mozambique, I absolutely knew I had to do it again.  This time I am off to Malawi for a new adventure, and hope with a team of ten others to build a house, or hopefully two in an area dubbed "Area 49" in the city of Lilongwe over two weeks in August.

 

Malawi suffers from one of the highest rates of urbanisation in Africa, at 6.3% it is over three times the global rate, and twice the average rate of urbanisation in Africa.  As a result the infrastructure of Malawi's cities cannot cope, and therefore 70% - 90% of Malawi's urban population live in slum conditions.  Habitat seeks to provide a range of holistic solutions including safe, decent shelter, improving health, education and livelihood opportunities.  I have decided to play my small part towards helping Habitat to achieve some ambitious goals...will you help me?

 

So here is my request...I am trying to get 200 people to donate just £10 to this more than worthy cause (though don't hold back if you wish to give more :)! ) It's a big ask, but I think I can muster 200 people, so please think about this, and forward it on to anybody you might know who would want to help me!   I already offer a million Thank You's to anyone out there who supports me, you are amazing!
