On Sunday 26th May I'm running the Edinburgh Marathon in memory of 2 special ladies.

The first lady is my mam Veronica Lorimer who died in 2011 and the second lady is Liz Horwood who was the mam of my close friend ( Ali Dawkins) who died at the end of last year.

Both of our mam's died from cancer related illness's and both received care from hospices.

I hope you never have to experience a loved one being in a hospice but if you do you will know how valuable their care and support is. They are amazing places and the staff that run them are unique.

Please help me raise money for Hartlepool Hospice so they can continue to care for and to support other families.
