I will be taking part in the 2010 Bupa Great Manchester Run on 16th May and raising money for the Royal Manchester Children's Hospital.  My grandson Reuben was admitted to the hospital last October and was in intensive care for over a week.  It was a very difficult time for all the family and I do believe that Reuben would not be with us today without the excellent treatment and care he received.

Whilst Reuben was in hospital, Maverick a TV company were filming a documentary which follows the hospital's young patients.  This has been televised on Tuesday's on ITV1 at 7.30pm.  Reuben will in feature in the Children’s Hospital programme on either 27 April or 4 May.
