As most of you by now know I was diagnosed with breast cancer earlier this year. I had a mastectomy last month and am now embarking on three months of chemotherapy then radiotherapy.

I am receiving fantastic support from all the amazing folk at MacMillan Cancer Support in the new MacMillan Cancer Centre at UCH London and want to do my bit to raise some funds for their excellent work.

The lovely staff at El Vino, Fleet Street, are kindly hosting my sponsored head shave on 2nd August at 7.30 p.m. and I hope my family, friends and colleagues will contribute as much as possible. Come on, this spectacle has got to be worth at least the cost of a bottle of house wine each!
