Story
Thanks for stopping by to read my page :)
I will be taking part in the Glasgow Kiltwalk Mighty Hike (23 miles) on Sunday 26th April 2020, the aim of which is to raise as much funds as possible for Samuel’s Smile.
For those of you who may not already be familiar with this amazing Charity, or know of the outstanding work Samuel and his family does for these “Rare” kids, then I would urge you all now to pop over to Samuel Bell’s Facebook page.
Samuel was born with Total Hirchprungs Disease, and cannot therefore tolerate or absorb any form of food or liquid in the normal fashion. Samuel is wholly TPN dependent, like so many of the kids his charity supports.
Kids with rare conditions spend so much of their precious lives in and around hospitals. Whether it be a lengthy admission or consultant/clinic appointments 3-4 times a week, every week in life. This does have a negative impact on not only their own well-being, but also their close family too.
Samuel’s charity involves visiting kids in hospital, at home, kids/family days out, safari park adventures and visits to Christmas Wonderland ... to name but a few.
This is the only charity in Scotland raising money for kids with rare diseases, and where 100% of the proceeds is provided to the cause.
Please consider donating a few pounds to help me reach my target.
