Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

At the beginning of this year Jennie Firth and I decided to run a marathon (ok, in two halves!) in support of Christian Aid and St Gemma's Hospice.

Following on from my warm-up at Leeds Half Marathon I will complete my marathon by running the Great North Run on Sunday 19th September in aid of St Gemma's. If you see me out training please give me a wave (or a lift!)

Your support will not only keep me motivated as I'm plodding along but is very important to the work of St Gemma's as they have just launched a refurbishment appeal for patient bedrooms.

A donation of £5 could buy seeds for the hospice gardens, £15 could enable a patient to share a meal with their family and £25 would allow a patient to have their hair done in the hospice salon.

A donation of £40 would provide a session of bereavement counselling for families.

Please dig deep if you can, I really appreciate your donation and your support.

Thank you

Helen
