I have never run a marathon before and am attempting the London marathon to help raise for bowel and cancer research, they have a vision which I share, that is no one should die of bowel cancer or live with chronic bowel disease or face life with a permanent stoma. My grandmother died of the disease , my father is fighting the disease and I can't bear the thought another family member may have to go through it too . Bowel cancer is the 2nd most common cancer affecting many people - men, women , young and old. This charity funds into clinical and scientific research to help save lives and improve the lives of individuals with the disease.
